Retail Store – Sporting Life
Tarpon Contracting recently completed a Retail Store Renovation for Sporting Life, comprising 30,000 square feet at 2665 Yonge Street, Toronto, Ontario. This Renovation of first and second floor retail space included:
- demolition and disposal of all interior finishes;
- excavating and shoring of new elevator shaft;
- structural rehabilitation of existing members;
- new structural steel and glass elevator shaft;
- new glass elevator (TSSA compliant) and structural glass balustrade;
- new suspended staircase;
- new ecofriendly white roof membrane;
- new HVAC system;
- new electrical distribution system;
- new electrical wiring, receptacles and lighting finishes;
- new drywalls and suspended ceiling, and Unistrut System;
- new drywall partitions;
- new permanent and movable fixtures and millwork finishes;
- new public and staff washrooms and facilities;
- custom oversized feature structural acrylic doom;
- all painting and, wall coverings
- all floor finishes (tile, carpet, vinyl and engineered flooring);
- new life safety systems;
- new plumbing, exterior drainage and sprinklers systems;
- stainless steel cladding of exterior columns;
- interior and exterior doors and hardware; and
- interior glazing and exterior glazed structural curtain wall.
